Benog Trek

Beautiful hike through a bird sanctuary, paradise for bird lovers named after a famous extinct enlarged bird mountain quail. It is a part of Raja Ji National park.

The hike is approximately 4 kilometres to the summit from the starting point. A beautiful trail that is covered with trees (oaks, Rhododendron and Red viburnum). The top is a great spot with great views of the Himalayas such as Banderpoonch the Black peak & Srikanta etc.

The trail goes uphill, downhill some people can find it ascent too some fitness level is required.

The sanctuary offers a truly magical view of sunrise and sunset Plant found: Pine, Rhododendron, Deodar, Cedar, Mak, Mansoor, medical plants etc. Commonly found animals: Himalayan goat, Leopard, Deer, Bear etc.

Difficulty: Fitness level required

Duration: 4 hours approx.

Total in trail: 7 kilometer approx.

Chasing angels or finding demons go to the mountain put on your boots & hike.
